For every night and every nap

Always with your baby. Even two rooms away.

You don’t have to listen at the door every few minutes: Pevu listens the whole time – without a pause – and tells you the truth: green only when the connection was verified a second ago and the nursery is genuinely quiet. The moment something stirs, you know.

  • Hears every whimperSound comes before the picture and stays on even when the Wi-Fi gets weak. Pevu never just goes quiet on you.
  • Calls you when it mattersNoise, motion, a lost connection or a low battery: a loud alarm overrides silent mode and Do Not Disturb – on the screen, in words, not just an icon.
  • Never leaves your homeNo cloud, no account, no recording. What happens in the nursery stays between your two devices – tonight and every night.

Connected in two taps

Pick roles

One device stays with the baby, one goes with you. Pevu remembers the answer — the question never comes back.

Scan the QR code

The code pairs the devices and pins their fingerprint. From the second time on, they find each other by themselves.

Breathe. Or know right away.

Green means: genuinely quiet. And if not, Pevu calls you at once – on noise, on motion, on a lost connection.

The worries every mother knows – and what Pevu does about them

You are not overanxious. You are a mother. This is what Pevu does about the thoughts that keep you awake.

“What if I don’t hear my baby?”

You will. Pevu’s alarm is loud, ignores silent mode and Do Not Disturb, and keeps going until you react. On Android it also runs as a protected foreground service that the system won’t put to sleep.

“What if the app just stops in the night?”

Then you know within seconds. Pevu checks the connection every second. Three missed heartbeats turn the screen red with the time it happened, an alarm sounds, and Pevu reconnects on its own – usually in under ten seconds.

“What if a stranger could watch my baby?”

They can’t. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, there is no account to hack, and the stream is end-to-end encrypted and bound to exactly your two devices when you pair them. Even someone on the same Wi-Fi sees nothing.

“What if the Wi-Fi or the internet goes down?”

The internet may go down – Pevu won’t even notice. It runs inside your own Wi-Fi, not on a server. And on the road, travel mode spans a private network between your two devices, without any router.

“What if the battery dies at four in the morning?”

Pevu tells you in advance, in plain words – “43 %, not charging, lasts about 3 more hours” – and warns you loudly before it gets tight. Audio-only mode gets even an old phone through the whole night.

What makes Pevu different

No cloud, no account

Video and audio travel directly from device to device through your Wi-Fi. No sign-up, no servers, no recording — there is simply nothing that could end up anywhere.

End-to-end encrypted

Protected with the technology of secure video calls. The QR code pins the device fingerprint at pairing — nobody can slip into the middle.

Silence you can trust

Green in Pevu means: the connection is provably fresh and the nursery is genuinely quiet. If it drops, an alarm overrides silent mode and Do Not Disturb.

Audio before video

When Wi-Fi gets weak, Pevu pauses the picture first — never the sound. A baby monitor that goes quiet on bad reception would be the wrong one.

Built for long nights

Audio-only mode, eco with the camera truly off, battery forecasts in plain words, and a night display that dims itself and wakes on every event.

Travel mode

Hotel, camping, grandma’s: an Android device creates its own small network — no router, no internet. One QR code and you’re set.

Small moments Pevu gives back to you

A baby monitor isn’t really about technology. It’s about what you can do again while your baby sleeps.

Cooking while the baby naps

Nap time in the nursery, a pot on the stove. Your phone leans against the wall and shows a calm green: all quiet. If anything stirs, you hear it right away – even over the sizzling.

An evening on the balcony

Dinner for two while the baby sleeps two rooms away. If anything stirs, you hear it before it turns into crying.

Sunday at grandma’s

An old phone stays with the baby, yours comes to the table. Both join grandma’s Wi-Fi – or travel mode does without any Wi-Fi at all. Pevu remembers the pairing.

Hotel, holiday flat, camping

Travel mode builds its own little network between your two devices. No hotel Wi-Fi, no internet – just the two of them, encrypted like at home.

One plan, both devices

Audio monitoring with every alarm is free – forever, no strings attached. Pevu Full adds the picture: live video, peek, motion alarm and travel mode. Whatever you choose covers both of your devices, iPhone and Android mixed.

Built for the most precious thing in your life

The safest baby monitor is the one where nothing leaves your home

Cloud baby monitors have made headlines with hacked cameras and leaked recordings. Pevu removes that risk instead of managing it: no server, no account, no recording – there is simply nothing out there that could be attacked.

  • End-to-end encrypted
  • No cloud, no server
  • No account, no recording
  • Made in Germany, GDPR

Security you can verify

End-to-end encrypted

DTLS-SRTP – the same technology that protects secure video calls. The QR code pins each device’s cryptographic fingerprint at pairing.

Nothing to breach

No servers, no accounts, no recordings. There is no database of your nursery that could leak or be sold.

Strictly local

Every packet stays inside your Wi-Fi – or inside Pevu’s own travel network. Devices without the right key are rejected.

What Pevu never does

The most important features are the ones missing — on purpose. None of this is a setting you could forget. It’s how Pevu is built.

Why this is guaranteed by design — not just promised →

Why parents can trust Pevu

Privacy by architecture

Not a promise, a construction: with no server and no account, there is nothing that could leak, be breached or be sold.

A real company behind it

Pevu is built by Deep Platforms GmbH in Germany — with a legal notice, GDPR obligations, and a name attached to the promise.

Honest by design

Pevu tells you what it cannot do — no remote access, no recordings. A baby monitor should earn trust, not demand it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pevu need internet?

No. The two devices connect directly through your Wi-Fi — the router doesn’t need an internet connection. There is no cloud server in between, so Pevu keeps working even when the internet is down.

What happens if the connection drops?

Exactly what should: you see a full-screen red alert with the time it dropped, and a loud alarm overrides silent mode and Do Not Disturb. Pevu then reconnects automatically — usually in under ten seconds.

Can someone on the same Wi-Fi watch?

No. The stream is end-to-end encrypted, and at pairing your device pins the counterpart’s cryptographic fingerprint from the QR code. A stranger’s device cannot slip into the middle — not even on the same network.

Does an iPhone work as the nursery unit?

Yes. With video the screen stays on (an Apple rule) — Pevu dims it automatically. Audio-only runs even when locked. An Android device fits the nursery best, since it streams with the screen off.

Does Pevu record?

Never. No recordings, no cloud, no account, no analytics. What happens at night stays on your devices — technically it cannot be any other way.

Does Pevu work on the road, say in a hotel?

Yes. An Android device creates its own small network — no router, no internet, random password. The second device joins via QR code. (Travel mode is part of Pevu Full.)

What does Pevu Full cost?

You choose: 3.99 € per month, 19.99 € per year with the first 7 days free, or 39.99 € once for forever. Every option covers both devices of your household. Audio monitoring with all alarms stays free forever.

Does one plan really cover both devices?

Yes. You pay on one device; the next time your two devices connect, the other one unlocks by itself – even between iPhone and Android. Nothing to log in to, no code to type.

How do I cancel?

In the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play – like any other subscription. Pevu never charges you directly and cannot see your payment details.

Which languages does Pevu speak?

The app is available in 21 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Romanian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Arabic.
